Specialist Support: Community
Specialist Support and Care in Salisbury and the Surrounding Areas
Call on our experienced care professionals for specialist care and support in the community. RedJacket Specialist Care recognises the significant gap in specialist supported living for people with complex needs, learning disabilities, or problems relating to domestic abuse, addiction, or mental health. Serving customers nationwide, RedJacket aims to support these individuals and provide greater choice and control over where they live and the quality of their day-to-day life by creating bespoke care plans and even housing, where required. What We Offer
Housing and community living can be the key to building relationships, independence, and self-esteem. They are essential to promoting a sense of value and social inclusion. Despite this, many individuals facing personal or physical problems receive little advice or choice around their living preferences and subsequently remain without suitable accommodation.
At RedJacket Specialist Care, we are committed to supporting individuals in finding safe, secure, and appropriate housing whilst ensuring that the individual's needs are met through additional support packages which can be adapted to the customer to their required level of support.
Core Values
In helping customers to transition into their own homes, we work with various health and social care professionals to ensure access to efficient, consistent, and timely care that suits the individual’s needs. Additionally, we train our staff members to the highest possible standard to ensure all care standards are met.
We work hard to promote our core values, including:

Case Study
Our vision came to life in 2021 when we moved our services into the Surrey community to support a gentleman with a profound learning disability to transition out of a care home into his own home with 24/7 support from a staff team.
Since his transition, this customer has been supported to access activities within the community including trampolining, horse riding, and hydrotherapy, as well as building on his life skills through accessing cooking lessons and music therapy. During our recruitment process, we use person-matching tools to identify the characteristics of the staff team and ensure that they are well-suited to the customer.
The small cluster of staff work in his best interest to enable him to lead a full and purposeful life that promotes choice, inclusion, and independence. Periodically, we will liaise and work with relevant health professionals to ensure that all health assessments are up to date and there has been little change in support needs.
